There is an unmarked channel from the opening of the railroad bridge to the high
point of the highway bridge up the Trent River. The NC Fish and Wildlife Department is enforcing the clearance of this channel, despite the fact that it's not marked.
Heads Up:
Some folks who anchored out last year were helping themselves to the marina shower
and laundry facilities. This year's new Dockmaster and staff are running a much tighter
ship and won't tolerate such. To be fair, if you aren't paying marina fees, don't expect
to use marina facilities. We will provide transportation to laundry & shopping during the Rendezvous.
