Monday Oct 27 is registration Day

Registration and PARTY! from noon - until we either freeze or the bar closes.
To be held on the Sheraton Quarter Deck. Informal.
Bring boat cards to share with others and to drop into the jar for prize drawings.

6 PM -  Welcome, by Mayor Tom Bayliss, New Bern and Steve Tyson, Craven County Commissioner.  Introduction of Fred Wagner, USCG Aux.

6:15 - 50/50 Drawing, Door Prize Drawing, and Announcements.

In consideration of others, PLEASE take your cell phones outdoors to use them.
 

Tuesday Oct 28

Seminars.  All seminars will be held in the New Bern Farmers’ Market; less than a block from the Sheraton Marina.  (tentative schedule:)

Menu: Pork barbecue, fried chicken, baked beans, cole slaw, and hush puppies.  Iced tea, both sweetened and unsweetened.  Dessert: Judy's home baked goodies!

7:00  Entertainment (time approximate, after dinner).

Thursday Oct 30 bonus activities

For those who are staying in the area an extra day...

All Day - US Coast Guard Aux Boat Safety and Equipment Inspections
From the Sheraton Marina "face dock", look for the USCG Aux logo on their boat.  Get your decal updated.  (Fred Wagner)

8:30 - noon  Cruiser's Flea Market
On the lawn behind the Sheraton Marina office. (In case of rain, they say we can set up under the walkway cover by the office.) Bring your cast-offs, take home treasures.
 
9:00 - until... LP Gas fills through Jenkins Gas 
In the parking lot by the Marina; bring your empties and they can be filled and returned in about an hour.  Put your boat name on your cylinder. Jenkins

10:00 until... Fire Extinguisher Inspection/Recertification
Bring your fire extinguishers to the walkway by the Marina office.  Arrangements can be made for on-board systems at this time or by calling Chris Simons, New Bern Fire Extinguishers Sales and Service (252) 638-5541
